Old  Start of a PDF CV background *Feedback*

Hi want to make a PDF CV so i have started on this background. Need to touch up a few bits and add some brushing tomorrow (clouds and highlights) but after a couple hours work its turning out okay I think.

Any feedback would be useful as I intend to send it with emails to agencies and for freelance stuff.

Thanks

Looks good - always look out with playing with bright colours. For a cover its good, stands out - just as long as not all pages are yellow unless readablity is clear.

exactly, thanks for the feedback. I want to make it 1 Page only and include my contact information, a bit about me and my skills/services. I will make black content areas with white writing for this.

the first looks nice, the second i am liking the background but the text and the cut out of you (i'm guessing its you) are not really making me wanna look at it, the image of you is quite messy on the cuts, doesn't look like its part of the picture, and the text doesn't go well with the background.

How to Fix:
Portrait: the image can be cut a lot smoother by using the poly lasso tool, and zooming into the edges, the hair has a lot of detail so you will need to take you time and cut, but also using a feather will help make the hair blend.

Text: the dark shadow and gradient doesn't look right at all, its quite off putting in my opinion, this could be fixed by having it as a plain text and maybe a little stroke on the titles.

hope this helps a little
