Portfolio domain

Hey guys,

I am ready to open up my portfolio but need a domain. I am thinking of using my Last name as the domain. So it will be like...

www.rezaee.me

As you can see, my last name is complicated. Would it better if I make a company name or use that as the site name!

I would first select a company name related to your niche. Select a keyword rich domain.
Secondly a .com is much more valuable than a .me so if you are planning to have a commercial website it's is better to stick with .com.

Well I'm only a student. Under 18....So is a company worth it now?

I have a long last name which people find complicated too.

I just shortened it to the last 3 letters "Sch". It really depends on what you want. I'd just try and stick to something you think would be easy to remember.

Well someone mentioned to be today that the domain rezaee.me is cool because...

When quoting it over the phone, I would suggest

"go to my website, reza double e dot me"

I would think your last name would be the best option for you. Not only is it short, but it's memorable. Using your name is also a great method of getting your name out there.

Find a play or words like TaeKwonJoe (above)

If you're freelancing than using your name will definitely give you that memorable edge.
