  Old  JQuery Slide Problem

I'm having trouble getting a smooth slide with JQuery's slideUp and slideDown functions.

Here is what I currently have:

It works fine on other sites, so I'm wondering what I'm doing wrong.

use the jquery ui, it has a built in accordion. http://docs.jquery.com/UI/Accordion

is the margin, try not using any margin for the different layers

Don't think margin would cause any issues tho and Jquery is the way to go.
