  Old  Designing software

What do you guys use mainly?

I use Adobe Photoshop mainly and consider myself pretty good in it.

I was wondering about Illustrator - If you good in Photoshop, is Illustrator kind of similar or is it difficult? What's the difference

I rate my self highly fluent in Photoshop so wanted to know about Illustrator from maybe someone here who uses it before I give it a go

Thanks guys

xx

Illustrator is used for illustrating.

Vectoring and drawing and such, the pen tool is really good in Illustrator.

I use the pen tool in Photoshop - the one in illustrator is just an advanced version of it?

Is it easy to grasp Illustrator if you know your way around Photoshop?

Illustrator is a god-send for me. Its much easier to use the pen tool in illustrator and do more with it then it is using photoshop, and I know you have an interest in fashion, Illustrator would be a perfect match.

Illustrator I feel is much easier to learn because there aren't any real (ok some) "effects", you are basically drawing everything as you like.

http://mauriciomorales.net/ most stuff was made in illustrator and outputed to photoshop for presentation.
