Thats awful. Same thing happend to me and I decided the only thing to do was...get a dedicated server with a great fire wall.

It's probably just some group trying to make a name for themselves.
They have done this to 2,371 sites since June 06, 06

Everything is back up and running now as far as I know. It was just a defacement of index files as mentioned above. Pretty amazing how tech support showed up a whole 7 hours after the server was compromised. Not to mention, this was the second time the server was hacked, as some customers on their support forums claim. Time to switch to a more reliable service.
