the bigger question is 'does anyone miss them'.

Frames *spits*, they look horrible. They can mess up really badly and you can end up having a page full of scrollbars. I think I have only built a site using frames once, then I saw the light, and moved straight away from them .

i don't like frames. its easier to use regular design, looks more professional and gives you more control over the layout.

ive used frames and Im going to route around to try find that old design, You will laugh for days if you saw it. It was a phpbb header, two sidebars and the middle was the frame. It consisted of 5 frames. It was so ugly dark green with scroll bars all over it. That was the n00b days.

I have used frames once and i have never used them again because one of my friends have told me they were bad for search engine optimization, that's the main reason why i got rid of the frames on my website.

I have used frames in the past but not for a few years now. At one point I used 9 frames for no other reason than to obtain a layout that would have more easily been acheived using tables... d'oh!

Frames are not only bad for SEO, (which they are very bad for), they are also bad for people that want to bookmark your pages... Come into a frames based site to find something, go through 11 pages till you find what you want and decide that you want to bookmark it for later... Well you're going to have to go through the whole process again because the bookmark will only reference the first page of a frameset.
