  Old  Need a picture - 50$ budget

Hey,

I am looking for a graphic artist who can make a high resolution one-color (vector?) image of Teddy KGB, a character from the poker film Rounders.

This will be used as print for a t-shirt. I'd like it to be very simple, maby in the same style as the examples below. The most important thing is that poker players recognize him when they see the t-shirt. So no fancy stuff, just a recognisable face and maby a part of his chest...

Please PM me with samples of your work!

Thanks.

Seems pretty simple, save as transparent .png in photoshop (erase the whites of the image, then save as .png) then open in illustrator and run the live trace button. This will vectorize the design.

** edit, I thought you wanted the image above vectorised, misread the original post

based on what Aaron mentioned above couldn't you just live trace this image http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_ni6SaU4lKX.../teddy+kgb.jpg

Then since it's a vector you can blow it up.

edit...
this is the quick result I got following aaron's suggestion
