I have just introduced a new contest at Desk Shot. Here's how it works:

I've randomly uploaded pictures into future user's accounts. I know this may seem confusing, but just leave that at that. Once a new user registers, they are given a unique user id. I have randomly selected user ids between 58 - 200. Any new user that registers has the possibility of winning. If you register and see an image already in your account click the image to see the amount of money you have won. Prizes vary from $25 - $50. Already a member?
I've added a new feature where you can refer new members using the URL provided in your account. If you refer one of the winning members you already win $10. At the end of the contest I will randomly select a member out of the ones who have referred the other winning members for an additional $40.

This is in regards to all members. In order to receive your money, you must have uploaded your desk shot. You must contact me within 5 days to receive your payment. Payments made via Paypal.

Dang, I didn't win anything

I almost made the first new member to register be a member but I decided to just have MySQL randomize it instead.

I can tell you this though, within the next 10 members who join there is at least one winner.

Details have changed. In order to know if you're a winner or not you'll have to upload a deskshot before the winning images will show up in your account.

says this: You may be a winner of our contest. In order to know, you will have to upload your desk shot first!

So do I still have a shot at winning, or is it to late for me?

EDIT: Never mind, figured it out

You can still win if you refer new members. I'm going to be holding another contest after this one for current members only.

I just want to reiterate, if you don't upload an actual 'desk shot' (a desk shot is a picture of your desk and setup) then you will be disqualified from winning the contest.

If you don't even upload one then you can't even win.

The winner of the last one has been disqualified and it is being added to another user for the possibility of winning.
