  Old  Using video

I'd like to do videos of a few of my articles to post at YouTube and other video sharing sites. I came across Xtranormal which says it's text to video but I haven't tried it yet. Anyone use this service that can tell us how easy/not easy it might be to use?

I have never heard of this service and I would like to know more about it as well. Is this just for slide show types of videos only displaying text descriptions? Once the text is converted to video can you add audio to the videos?

It's a good idea but I think for a relatively long article videos can be quite boring, hard to intake ALL valuable information you could get from reading the article. That's just my personal view, but I think using videos for blogs are great, but for informative articles I disagree.

Good luck

Better to submit your article in article directories.

Use video for giving tips about business.

I'm going to agree with Gatt and karmadir on this one. Video does work in the right environment. Have never heard of Xtranormal, though.

I agree with the others. Videos and written content have different nature. A well accepted article might not enjoy the same acceptance it was plainly converted to a video.

I did a similar thing in the past though the results did'nt turn out to be as expected. You could convert the article to a presentation and put it up as slides on youtube. I did that using windows movie maker.

Articles on video work well only if there is someone doing a voice over and is reading the article out loud. If the reading is more than 2 minutes and it is just pure moving text... I normally get bored.
