Arguing in threads
Hi everyone,
Due to the increase of arguing in threads, the marketplace forum in particular, we have to police these types of threads in a tougher manner.
So, in threads where big arguments begin, there will be instant 3-7 day temporary bans (depending on extent of argument) for all who decide to continue the argument instead of reporting the thread.
The thread authors will also have their threads removed and receive temporary bans if they decide to continue the argument and don't report threads.
A lack of reading this announcement does not preclude you from the consequences.

I try not to argue, but if I do and if it gets out of hand, I try to move to PM to spare the community.. anyway, I will try my best to keep calm and report any arguements I see.

Some hater tried to put me down in a thread earlier, I guess this is why it got deleted. It's nice if you actually PM the thread starter to let them know that their thread was deleted.

Gareth was it your post about the 2 designs you had made for your hosting company and blog? I agree that we should refrain from arguing, but when people continuosly keep putting others and their projects down because of their age I can understand why some get fed up.

Arguing is a part of life. Its human nature. So please don't be to strict about it. Its going to happen, we just need to teach everybody when to much is to much. Hopefully this rule will do just that. But if its applied in the wrong way, it can be very frustrating. Hopefully the staff will continue to make good decisions and lead TF to the top

Yep that's the one Matt. Because somebody else put me down my thread got deleted, rather than just banning the other guy
