I'll say doing all stuff mentioned by OP for your site is fine. But don't forget two things-- great quality content and good quality links. Quality links means links from within the content.

Link building methods mentioned by OP are going out dated and less useful. Now link bait is what next we have to adapt. And this is not a joke to do.
