Ok, this is how I would do it. Find a financial news RSS feed. I found one quite quickly on cnn.com, but I'm sure there are tons of others out there.

http://money.cnn.com/services/rss/

Now all you need is a PHP script that parses the RSS feed automatically into your DB. Search on google for this, sure there are lots of tutorials.
