I agree DW is great for saving time with its "automatic filling" of code and shortcuts.
But if I need just small change to code I like to use kind of Notepad++ just because it is starts few seconds quicker then DW, so it is about time saving again =)

awww. I am just working on one page and now I remember what is biggest problem for me when using DW.

It doesn't highlight tags. I mean when you have pair tag e.g. <div> DW doesn't highlight closing one </div> so sometimes I don't know if I closed everything properly.
Maybe it is possible to turn it on in DW, then please let me know, cos I don't have time to search for it =)

So what I do in cases like this when having lots of div wroten inside each other:
I switch to PSPad... It is not too often, but when I turn on PSPad I just keep working with it (sometimes for few days).. I had projects done purely with PSPad

As I said this is a big minus for DW

btw: if you didn't notice - I am big fun of PSPad
(it is free to use and download, i think that you may just donate to author, if you want - no I dont know him )
