  Old  Html/css editors

Hi to all!

What html/css editors you use when creating web pages?

For CSS I use TopStyleLite.

For html use
NVU - html editor
or
pspad
or
notepad++

I do all of my XHTML/CSS in Dreamweaver although for quick mods I usually use Notepad++ because it's not nearly as heavy.

I use Dreamweaver for the following reasons:
  • Decent Design Preview
  • Code completion
  • Great CSS integration
  • Tabs (Stupid I know)
  • Easy interface

Plus now that it's an Adobe product, I expect they'll start integrations with Photoshop (ie - in Flash you can now import a layered PSD).

Best Regards,
Patrick

I use bluefish and don't like it. but can't find anything really better. (note: haven't looked too hard)

a friend of mine uses coda (mac only) and that is really nice.

For xhtml & css I only ever use notepad. Everything else just seems so fiddly whereas with notepad I can just write lol.

Is notepad++ any good?

PHPDesigner 07

I know it says PHP but it can be used for a whole host of languages.
I used to use Dreamweaver but I now find it too heavy and unnecessary.

PHPDesigner can connect straight to localhost, ftp, has a great preview. I honestly can't find a fault!
