Ok, how come whenever I fill in a password field on a website I press submit or just hit enter, the password disappears and I get a invalid login becuase I didn't type in the password? Any ideas anyone?

The password disappearing is just how the password input box has behaved since the beginning of time. It does not affect the password being sent to the server. So... the invalid login is not because the password is disappearing. Not to be rude, but are you actually typing in the correct password?

How did this thread get here? I thought I put it in a different forum.

Anyways, Salathe... yes I am typing the right password. I knew someone had to ask that, and I know how a computer works.

Thank you.

Well I cleared my cookies, I wasn't too sure whatelse to do, but now its only on yaXay.. I tried to sign up there to sell a template but so far haven't been able to login.

I even got them to mail me my password and I clicked the "rest password" link and it wont even let me change it.

I think I will be fine. Before I thought I did something more drastic but I geuss I just need mroe sleep. :P
Thanks.

That might have also been the problem.

Well for this site my firefox is making me double post letters so when I type in my password it puts in an extra character so it makes me login invalid. I'm also using FireFox.

Ah wait, how long is your password? A common problem I have with vb is, the field you register on allows for one less character than the one you login with. I have a 14 digit password and the login allows 15....so quite often than not I have to type my password in with the end character missing
