  Old  Skin Bugs

Note on rep images

The add rep images have been fixed, you may need to clear your browser cache to see it. Here are instructions on how to do that (link contains every common browser):
http://kb.iu.edu/data/ahic.html

I am the guy to go to for skin bugs, if there are any that you have found please PM me or post them here.

When you give a report, please tell me which skin you are using.

Known bugs:
*iTrader says that every users has 391,327 Total Feedback Received. This is probably a file error.

Fixed Bugs
* Status doesnt show on the user profile.
* Rep icon is too large
* Post count link in the postbit is dead (just points to "#").
* Can't see time of latest post when looking over the list of the forums.
* Advertise with us is a blank link
* News and Rules in the footer are dead links.
* Bookmark Us in the header.
* Forum stats are discolored
* Moved the posting options to under the post box, not under the thread review.
* Large text overlaps
* The topic title is shown three times from the breadcrumb to the 'post reply' button (in showthread view). Do we need three identical bits of content so close to each other? (lowest priority on list, not sure about it). I kept it the way it is because all other combinations looked odd.

  • News and Rules in the footer are dead links.
  • The topic title is shown three times from the breadcrumb to the 'post reply' button (in showthread view). Do we need three identical bits of content so close to each other?
  • Post count link in the postbit is dead (just points to "#").
  • Bookmark Us in the header -- NETSCAPE only? Just remove that link complete.
  • Can't see time of latest post when looking over the list of the forums.

Why's this in a new topic and not the other one?

Seems that I can only increase reputation on thread posts for my own account and no one elses. This seems backwards to me.

Not sure, I can rate another persons post one way or the other.

Are you on the new skin or the old skin?

Umm - I seem to be able to add rep fine. Anyone else with issues?

If someone has given me rep for a post (e.g. my earlier post in this topic) then I can see the thumbs up/down icon beside the post number. Clicking this displays a popup (a nice HTML box) with the message that was received.

I can also see the thumbs up/down icon beside the post number of my posts within any topic that I've started. But clicking this displays a JavaScript alert box saying "This post has not received any reputation. You currently have 20 reputation point(s)."

I cannot see the thumbs up/down icon beside anyone else's posts.

EDIT: This very post has the thumbs up/down icon but displays the JavaScript alert box.

Bigger size text goes above the top line.
The site loads slow, beyond slow. (it won't save tfl's images to cookies, something is blocking it on the website or something, it's not normal AT ALL.)

Do you mean that the rep issue is on the old skin and it was carried over to the new one? Because I'm on the new one, getting those issues mentioned above.
