Anyone like Python over C?

Even though C is so good, I wish it was less complicated. I'm sticking with python its simple, yet effective.

apples to oranges here, python is a less powerfull, less used language. C's complexity is what gives it power, and wide use. C++ has more now however.

Python and C have different intents and purposes. I wish that people didn't make rash statements like the one above without having a lot of high level experience using a language.

It depends on what you want to do. If you want more of lower level programming, such OS's, compilers and whatnot, C is definitely better. However, if you have to do more abstract and higher level programming, than Python is your friend.

I know both python and C/C++, that wasn't a rash statement at all...

Well, I beg to differ. What part of python do you not find "powerful" enough?

I think Python is a very unique language, but I do think C++ has some stronger advantages over it.

They are different things...
Python is mainly for script use, C++ for large systems.

i dont know python that well so i cant and i wont comment on it, i do know C and c++ i personal prefered learning c++ not really sure why just my personal opinion

Is a can opener "less powerful" than a bottle opener? No, they just do different things. I would never try to write a compiler using python, just as I would never use C++ to write a website scraper.
