  Old  Unemployedloser, thoughts?

I'm getting quite sick of these sites now....people just say they're a student or something and seem to make money from it! What sort of people are actually buying their advertising? I mean, I would NEVER pay a site like this money for an advertisement....

http://www.unemployedloser.com This is just another "milliondollarhomepage" site, it's slightly different but I guess the concepts the same, the only appealing thing about this site is his blog, people really hate him lol.

Thoughts? I guess i'm more sick of the clones that people make than the original idea..one is enough.

In actual fact the Million Dollar Homepage is just a modification of the donation to get one million dollars so its not like it was the first one. But where he was lucky was incorperating the advertising aspect.

Cloning sites is not good at all but I suppose after seeing this Million Dollar Homepage come up and all the clones we can see that those who are not ashamed to copy an idea make money. Some have made thousands. People will stop making money from this or make very little more then some small advertising on a blog site soon any way so I wouldn't be to worried.

i wouldn't consider $630 much of a success...i could make more than that in a week peddling money on the curb.

to be the milliondollarhomepage you're getting something back, ie, one pixel for a buck. Just giving a guy $10 for nothing uif just a bit pointless.

I live in New Jersey, want me to go find him and slap him up a bit for you Robson?

Either way, $630 for doing nothing is enough for anyone. I personally wouldn't mind getting that from doing nothing. Either way, its working out for him - he is being talked about, he is posted here so I am pretty sure he is posted in about a hundred other places as well too.

Its not a bad idea. I'm sick of seeing this too, but hey it works (probably not to $1mil, but enough).

wow, i wasn't aware of places like this.. what would you call this.. a Glorified Begger? with a few skills at web design? I can see why people frown at places like this, i wouldn't waste my time going there usually (but the thread was posted by Robson so i checked it out). Im amazed that people make donations! Tis Crazy..
