Other Webmaster Forums
Hey guys, hope everyone's doing well.
Seems like all the oldies aren't around TFL much anymore, ah well.
Anyway, I wanted to ask you guys what other quality webmaster communities are out there? At the moment, I frequent: - Talkfreelance
- DigitalPoint (yes, DP)
- WebHostingTalk
- NamePros
Are there anymore you can add to the list that are really worth getting involved with?
Thanks.

This sort of seems like an odd question to ask on a webmaster forum, its like going into a restraint and asking where else you can get great food.
TF is really the only one I am active on. Out of the ones you named DP is the one I will never be active on again. The people there are idiots and the work always goes to the lowest bidder. Not to mention that the staff have the worst conduct I've ever seen out of a functioning forum (with one exception, but it was not webmaster related).

Not really, because there's no immediate monetary gain to be had by giving such advise.

Yea, DP is quite bad, I agree with you there. The marketplace is full of people who charge less than the cost of a cup of coffee for entire site designs - it's quite ridiculous. Hence the reason why I'm looking for other decent places :P

Makes sense.

Unfortunately DP and SP are large scale reflections of where the entire internet market has gone: to crap. Both the design and development world have been taking serious hits because people seem to find low quality acceptable as long as it is cheap. The only reasons I even try to operate my business online is because I am doing this part time.

I'd love to know of other more reputable ones as well. I usually just frequent TFL and WebHostingTalk but I'd love to have a few others to go to.
DP makes me want to bang my head against a wall nonstop.
Edit: Although not really 'webmaster', I do frequent dslreports.com. Forums are a bit antiquated but you get used to it after awhile.

DP and SP I stay away from these days. Even the old About.com forums are dead or full of trolls.
Aside from software specific forums that I deal with, TF, HostingDiscussion.com, WHT, WebmasterWorld.com (hate their forums software), ukwebmaserworld.com, webmasterforums.com (small community) and then webmaster-talk.com.
