Design Businesses Based on Freelance

Hey,

I am wondering if anyone here owns their own web design business but outsources all the actually design work to freelancers?

If so, care to elucidate further on how you handle payments, quality, and customer interaction (do your customers speak directly with your freelancer?)

I have been the freelancer, and I didn't speak directly to the client (or theres a chance I'd offer the design for less money then they would with the middle man involved).

Talk to the client and ask what they like/ dislike. Then just tell the freelancer, allot of back and forward stuff really.
