Old  New Blog design - Devspeak

I was thinking my blog needed a redo:

http://www.devspeak.org/devspeak.jpg

what ya think ?

current layout is www.devspeak.org

update

the idea of the right hand menu is that as u go over each section box it highlights. So imagine the cursor is over the blogroll area.

Good actually. I think i did worse on the novel part which is strange because im most comfortable with it. I think i got about 24/27 for that part. The anthology was easy virtually same as a practice essay i did 34/36 for that one. My coursework for lit got nearly full marks.

Hopefully this means ive got my first A*.

Actually second. ICT was the easiest exam ever, 45 minuites early finish :/.

I kind of like this new design more than current, current one seems a little too empty for my taste although could be put to better use.

There are parts of both designs that I like, which would probably look good if merged together. I like everything about the new one, but I still like the way you have your posts set up in the old one. You have your latest entry in the orange box at the top, which I think looks better than how you have it setup in the new design.

erm ... okay ???

to be honest i see virtually no comparison. I made the design without looking at anything just what was in my head. I suppose you could say that its a similar style but its a blog ... you could find lots which have some similar elements.
