coding psds
forgive me for asking a newbie question, but how do you convert psds into code? I think it is dreamweaver, but I'm not sure.

You can use Dreamweaver for this. All you need to do is cut the images out in Photoshop (slice them, for example), and just code them into a document.

Using WYSIWYG editors to convert PSD's into sites will give you a badly coded site, which might not appear to have any problems with certain browsers, but adjusting the amount of content etc might make unwanted changes to the design.

And please don't use the code exported by Photoshop! grrrr... that drives me crazy. Learn XHTML, learn CSS, learn how to slice your design properly and get a nice editor (e.g. Zend Studio, Notepad++, EditPlus, etc). Trust me... you'll be better off for it.

Converting a psd to code is almost never automated.
Like these guys are saying, there a many people out there who hire themselves out to do that type of coding work, however it is quite simple to learn (compared to other coding).
It all depends on what you want to invest, but there are plenty of decent tutorials out there, just look for slicing, coding, html and css tutorials.
