  Old  Again about PR :)

Hi All,

How long I should expect to see some improvment with a new site of mine? I am putting a lot of efforts on promotion, so at least I hope to pass from PR0 to PR1

How long it can take before I see some results?

Regards,
Caroline

It can take up to 3 months to see results regarding PR.

lol, PR0 to PR1 is a matter of less than 10 links, if that.

If you have a full site up, PR will jump to PR2 atleast without any work from your part.

I think the next update is scheduled for around January/Feb, nearly every site jumps to PR3 on the first update....you only need a very small amount of links to achieve that.

Google updates its PR servers (so we can see it) once in a blue moon so don’t be put off if you have a lot of backlinks and no PR. Websites can get PR in a matter of days if they are lucky enough to start building links just before PR updates, others can take months.

For what its worth, PR is pretty meaningless. You would be better off concentrating on your SERPs for your desired keywords.
