Website Coding... What next..
Hey Guys,
I am working on the first completley xHTML/CSS design. Here is what i have done so far and here is what the final product will be like.
I aren't really sure how i need to code the tables. Do i need to make them float? Also how do i create the shadow on the side??
Thanks,
Techno

You have to make it so there is background images on either side. Which would be the 1 pixel tall shadow

Another option would be to make a background image (probably XXXpx wide by 1px tall) and center it horizontally and make it repeat vertically in CSS. Then just assign a background color for the rest of the page.

I would have to agree with Jared, that would create the most scalable version although the lighting feature at the top of the page on your what you want page would ruin this idea? Would make doing it a lot harder too.

Ok so can you tell me how to get the content boxes on there? Do i need to do something like this:
Code:
div.content { float: left }
div.content { width: 450px; }

Jonny is right, that coding is very ugly looking. Use tabs please. Also, I am sure the
Code:
div.content {
float: left;
background: url("url to it") top left;
width: 450px;
}

I wish people would read. I don't know what "Tabs" are. So please explain. Some people are arrogant beyond belief. "This coding is ugly"? How the hell am i supposed to know what is "Ugly" and what is "Beatiful" i thought one's that were Valid and ones that work were fine. Thanks a lot Bas
