Looking good, I am not a huge fan of the design but looks alright. Good luck with the site!

Good idea with the Email this recipe to your friend tool on the pages of the recipies. I'm sure that will help bring in more traffic. As far as the design goes, I think you should use more lively colors (maybe more greens similar to TF) and you definitely need good pictures of food to raise interest and keep your audience's attention (especially on the home page).

I just thought I would show you the two web sites above so you understand what I mean by "lively." Now I'm going to start going through your web site and get to cooking.

looks good! THe fonts are the things that need work imo. The login and regester buttons have a little bit of white spill on them (the sides). The "Welcome" text dosent look to great with the white border and drow shadow, i would jsut take them out. Change the top font to something that fits cooking a little better, and the main font to something more interesting and it will look great.

Cheers!

Design needs a lot of work. it feels very outdated and boring. has lots of potential though.

I'm not too keen on the colours of the website, doesn't really connotate to food at all and this puts the site off balance. The font you're using in the header is totally wrong, it's something you would expect to find in a sig on a clan forum. Your main problem here is definitly fonts and colour. Lose the dropshadow on the "Welcome", I would personally get rid of that altogether, far to 99' for me.

Navigation wise it's fairly sound, easy to locate the other pages and the site loads fast for me so that's a plus. Not a fan of the google ads but you have to make money someway! Change the font and perhaps have a play about with some more appealing colours (greens, oranges, browns) food colours, nothing like purple or grey!
