  Old  Copyright issues?

I am currently in the process of starting a website about hairstyles. I want to have a gallery of haircut images on the website and one of my sources will be:

http://s3.photobucket.com/albums/y92...0one%20color/?

i want to know if there are any copywrite issues here, am i able to jsut go ahead and use the images, or will i have to get permission from the owner?

i would really appreciate some help from you guys!

Whenever you publish anything to which you don't hold copyright, there are potential issues. It looks like the person collecting the images into that PhotoBucket folder also doesn't 'own' those photos -- they're not her property.

Legally, you'd have to get permission from the photo owner but practically that may be difficult. Even if the PhotoBucket folder owner does have contact details for the photograph owners, they will likely not give you those details.

Personally I'd just use the images with a disclaimer that the content may be coming from third parties and you are not responsible for it.

Do not do this suggestion, this is copyright theft and very poor advice.

I can tell you for definite, the person that owns that Photobucket account does not own the copyright to the pictures.

They were collected from the "Emo Hair Thread", on LivingWithStyle forums.

EDIT:
http://forums.livingwithstyle.com/sh...d.php?t=282269

It seems the album you posted is actually from MadRadHair.com. In which case, the photos were collected from all over the internet, and gathered into a single album.

Still, the owner of the album/account does not own the copyright.
