I dunno.. What are you gonna develop? w3 as in w3schools? Whats there to discuss, another site with forums about w3schools?
If its about programming and such i dont know, it just seems to me you wont be able to compete with w3schools as they offer a great amount of learning content. You'd have to put a lot of time and effort to even contend. IMHO.

Well, you're really left with one option and that is to turn it into some sort of programming/html discussion forum....
Is it worth developing? In a nutshell....it depends if you're interested in the topic enough to be bothered with the long hours and hassle of running a community.

Thanks everyone,
Robson: Yeh that's the main area I was thinking of developing it, although it could be for so much more, something like sitepoint as w3 stands for 'World Wide Web'. Also, yeh I really wana develop a community now, something I was going to do from the start and did run one for about 2 months with 100 members so I hope I can make this one far more popular and busy
Wish me luck!

Make sure your forum isn't glossy. Glossy forums die fast.
