Not to sure on this one its just rectangles. And the font in the navigation is far to big.

Yeh the template is made of 4 rectangles and that seems to be it, there isn't any depth of realism to it. TFL is made of many shapes with effects to give it a more lively look.

Vlux, I know I posted this asking for suggestions. Which is what I'm after. However, saying it's just 4 rectangles isn't helping me. Telling me to add more effects isn't either.
I know you've got beef with me and I'd hope that someone being honest with you didn't cripple your ability to help out around here.
If anyone has any suggestions that might actually be of help, please share.
I'm looking for color suggestions, layout suggestions, and an overall rating.
thanks.

It doesn't look finished at all. In my opinion, it should be scrapped entirely .
Key items I don't like:
- the header color and layout
- the empty white space
- the navigation
- the footer color
it just looks awkward.

If I had designed that WardLarson, I would do the following:
1) Scrap the work, learn from the mistake.
2) Find some inspiration, there are many sites out there that can help you with this. Maybe listen to some music for some kind of inspiration (NEVER RIP WORK).
3) Start experimenting with different styles and effects, and see which suits the look your after.
4) Build an outline of the site (maybe sketch it on paper) and then start working off that outline, adding in colour, and various styles and techniques you have chosen.
5) Evaluate finished work, make adjustments and improvements.
Hope this helps.
