Paypal Legal Issues
Hey guys. Recently I just had some trouble with some paypal transaction. Apparently they are looking into the transaction. I asked someone what they though and they think that it might have been stolen money. SO technicially, it was never mine. This is the email I got from them. Your views?
It has come to our attention that you may have recieved potentially
unauthorized funds in your PayPal account. We have initiated an
investigation into this event. In the meantime, we have placed a temporary
hold on the funds in question until the investigation is complete. This
temporary hold will show as a deduction in your available balance. In the
meantime, you are free to continue transacting using your PayPal account.
Please reply to this email with any questions you may have concerning this
reversal.
Sincerely,
PayPal Account Review Department

I think you got one of those PayPal chargebacks. I'm not sure how they work, but I do know that alot of people have lost their money because of this!

Exactly! I always do trades with people who I know that I can trust.

Yeah, same here.
On DNForum, I normally only do big business with Exclusive members on there. Someone who would pay $400 for a membership is not kidding around, lol. That's just my opinion though.

Yeh, even i wouldn't pay $400 lol. I have had my paypal account under investigation before, dont worry about it. It just means someone has made a complain through that buyer complaint service. The guys who complained agaisnt me were wanting a refund for traffic i sold them and supplied. I simply told paypal it was an online transaction and case closed

They have no choice..blame the loophole in their TOS. They will not refund the customer/buyer or anything if the transaction was online.
