its cool but it could use some work. i dunno about those motion blurs u have on the content boxes, also that green is kinda bright, i'd use a darker green. and the pattern is too strong and shouldnt be over the content like that, i'd have it on the bg under the content boxes. also some things are too big compared to others like ur nav buttons are really big, the headings too and the counter thing on the post, but all the text is really small. make it either 11px or 12px in size.

Really pretty good, I just do not like how those curved lines look on each box, just do not fit in my opinion.

Yea, I really do like this but it could use work.
First of all, I don't think that the motion blur on the boxes are necessary at all. If you would take those off, it would clean up the layout a lot.
Secondly, like Shawon stated in his post, the pattern in the content area is a little too bright, try bring down the opacity and playing with it until you have to look for the pattern to see it, not when you first see the layout.
Also, what I think would look really nice is instead of that bright green, you should use a nice blue, not too strong though. Good luck with it. Keep working with it, you should get it.

Those weird shapes (like the one right below the logo) disrupt the entire flow of the page. It would also look tons better without the motion blur in my opinion. If you commit those changes, I think you have a winner.

looks pretty nice but that orange draws too much attention and doesn't let the user to focus on the content.
