Hey,

We use defender technologies out of the Equinix Datacenter in VA. I chose it for control, features, and the support they provide outside of my own staff. It was a good choose for someone who is on site.

Things you should remember while choosing a hosts:
- How does support communicate with you?
- How do you feel after you talk with support?
- What are your goals e-commerce, personal, business, corporate?
- How does your mission fit into your price range?
- Network availablity if i pay for $1.99/month with the uptime reflect this?
- How does a hosts view its clients? Are business clients more important, dedicated clients, reseller, ect.

There are great hosts in all price range. However, in matter what you get what you pay for. If you pay $0.99/month for a hosting plan for a personal site and it is only up 99% of the time it is no big deal.

On the other hand, if you pay $24,99/month for a business site you expect 99.9% uptime. Your hosts really controls the images of your company. You should feel good after you talk to support or any other department. You should be respected and feel as if you are safe. If a hosting company views you this way no matter whether it is $0.99/month or $99.00/month and your site is available then you will be good to go.
