  Old  Dribbble & Forrst

Well we're all in the business of web development or design so you guys are probably aware and have probably tried to get into one of these.

I've been using Dribbble, not so much lately but I have been using it for some time, commenting on others dribbbles and making some friends. It really is a cool place to communicate and make friends who love what you do and really help people move forward in their projects. It has been done right.

Forrst on the other hand I have also used once, the community is very negative in what you do and the overall design of the site doesn't make me for one feel welcome to using it, I spoke to a few other people and their impressions were that it is the design of the site that lets it down. It's hard to find new content, and content that isn't just posted by the owner or those who you follow. It appears to me it is trying to do more than it should. Why not leave gravity, dribbble and other sites for the 'snaps' and 'questions', and concentrate on posting snippets of code.

What's your opinions on both sites? And are you on them both?

I only found out about Forrst today and unfortunately I didn't get the invite. I have used dribbble though and I think it's excellent. I think these websites are going to be real big in the future and a perfect place for people with the same interest to connect and this will be a great platform for business in the near future. If you got any invites please let me know!

I had an invite myself from the owner the other day... I think he resent it by mistake, I handed that to another guy, send me an email and I'll shoot any invites I may get your way. Dribbble is the way forward though

Would love to be on dribbble, but I don't have an invite I view dribbble for inspiration nonetheless!

I'm on Forrst and I can agree that the design is less than appealing as is the organization of content. I spent a few days there before I clamored off to doing what I did before I had access.

I do wish I had a Dribbble invite and unfortunately most that are willing to give out invites want to see work for 'proof' first.. I really just want to have an account there to share some fav's and give praise/critiques. Alas.
