I hate coming across a great site with amazing content only to find no one runs spell checking. Its really not all that hard, a few clicks (or a dozen) and you are done. Its really not that hard.
Spelling and grammar mistakes is quite a turn off. I saw someone working on his own website writing it in his native language and then turning his head to Google Translate and leave it like that which leaves his website full of crappy content.
