Voted for MSN, only after a long debate though...
I like the direct connect of AIM, its very simple to share files easily and quickly. It also has a simple interface imo.
However, MSN is much cleaner. I like how you can change your display name, and the emoticons are great (especially (ci)) haha.
Anyways, theres more reasons than that. I use both just about the same, mainly cus the entire east coast uses AIM, and then I moved to the west, and everyone here uses MSN, so im kind of torn...

the changing name feature is the exact reason i hate msn. it's a neat idea when people use it properly, like "Mike - i;m getting married" or "mike - i got fired, eat me".

i swear, if i ever see her in real life, i'm punching her in the face for this. i want to stab her everytime i open my contact list.
it's a name or use alias, not ****ing journel. people use this feature irrisponsibly and they should be shot in the middle of the street in full public view.

Ya, I vote "other." Trillian is the best if you want to manage contacts for a business/website.

Trillian isn't a "client" persay, just a multi-client manager. Still rocks tho IMO. I voted MSN because if I wasn't using Trillian Pro 3 to manage MSN, ICQ, Y! & AIM, that's what I would use...

I use Windows Messenger so I voted for MSN.
Very uncluttered interface, and easy to use.

I don't know what you guys are talking about, but on Trillian 3 Pro you can do pretty much everything that you can do on aim and msn (except for playing games i think)

I have only really used AIM since all of my friends use AIM. So AIM has my vote.
