Is there a full list of all doctypes out there?
I tried finding one the other day but no matter what I used, it ruined my layout, but it worked fine without one. Sort of leaves me to believe I coded wrong.

I've always found http://www.w3.org/QA/2002/04/valid-dtd-list.html very helpful.

But the only one you need to use is
<!DOCTYPE html PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD HTML 4.01//EN"

Cool, thanks. I'm always wasting time searching for their definitions on Google!
