Old  Mac OS X, webserver permissions

So i'm running Mac OS X 10.5.6 and the webserver it "comes" with, Apache and php.

I'm not really a mac guru and having problem getting the right permissions for folders and such. I've tried changing the rights and all that to simply create files and folders but without any great success.

Anyone that could point me in the right direction?

*mods* feel free to move this to the right forum, wasn't really sure where to post it.

cheers Hjalmar

Are you sure it's a folder permissions problem? The only problem I had was a missing folder or log file somewhere. See if Apache is reporting any errors in Applications / Utilities / Console

Thanks for your reply Nick. I actually just got it working like 10 secs ago and it was a folder permission issue.

thanks
