Help! It seems I've been hacked!
Hello there,
I was wondering why I couldn't log onto my FTP account, but have a look here: http://stevenfergus.co.uk/ It seems I've been hacked! What can I do about this? What does that mean they have access to and what details can they obtain?
Cheers,
Steven

Just contact your host. It may have been a server wide attack, but your host will be able to reset your password for you.

Well no, I wouldn't have thought so. That was used for my blog, but I stopped writing a month or so ago because of lack of readers. All my sub-domains work fine though.

I wonder if they found a vulnerability in the blogging software in the version you were using.

Which version? Did you check to see if there have been any security alerts released with the version you were running?

Wow, script kiddies. Get the access logs and report his IP. Most of these so called 'hackers' can't even code HTML properly.

What I do when I find a security hole is much better, I email them a few screen shots of their admin panel and offer my services to fix it.
