  Old  I made the switch

I made the switch from Internet Explorer to FireFox, so far so good - I find FireFox really reliable and fast.
I enjoy the tab system, however there's 1 minor thing I dislike.... I want to have everything in tabs, I don't want to allow any multiple instances of FireFox. Is this possible?

I think you can make it so that open new links in tabs.

But some software is just forcing the browser to open another complete window.. so, I dont think you can get out of it.

Try Opera, I use it!

It only has one window (with tabs obviously), even the pop ups come up inside the window

and same tabs come up th next time you open it.

In FireFox, if you have a mouse wheel, click it to open the link in a new tab.

Actually, it even does so within firefox. A new link (target="_blank") opens in a new screen instead of a new tab.

I'd recommend powerful Tabbrowser Extensions - it lets you customize almost everything around the tabbed browsing. It's much better than Tabbrowser Preferences IMO.

Also, go to tools->options->tabs and you can make links that open in a new window open in a new tab.

I don't see that option, however I have that configured right now because I am using an extention (see previous posts).
