  Old  template coding

Ok, I have been reading allot of tutorials and going through allot of HTML coding, but almost all tutorials I have looked at don't really show how someone would code a site. They are really just tutorials on how some codes work. Would anyone know a good tutorial that goes over coding a actually simple layout?

When i was first starting out i just edited free templates to see how they'd react, eventually you'll understand a fair bit and then you'll understand how to create simple sites. The tutorials will become more useful then.

Editing free templates is a good idea, if you are in need of some tutorials here you go -

http://www.tutorialcode.com/html/sli...-it-using-css/ - thats a pretty popular one, takes you from step one.

You should buy www.cssmastery.com. It's worth the money and you'll learn coding in a few days.

I should have a full (very detailed guide) going up shortly on coding and slicing a template into XHTML and CSS using some more advanced techniques. I am currently writing it. I will post when it is up. I will also try and write a tutorial for you guys on editing templates in dreamweaver.

So stay tuned
