For image replacement, what do you think is better? Scalable Imman Flash Replacement or Gilder/Levin Method?

Image replacement or where you can create flash controlled dynamic text? Basically, sIFR for blog posts, or stuff like that, otherwise you can just use images.

You're trying to compare apples to oranges here Haris. sIFR is for replacing text with Flash whilst the IR techniques are for replacing text with an image. Both have their uses, pros and cons; I don't think it would be reasonable to say which is "better" in such general terms.

Actually I misread in "CSS Mastery" that sIFR replaces text with flash text so I thought it wouldn't display text to people who doesn't have flash installed with their browsers. I'm going to use sIFR, how much load time will sIFR increase?

I'm a javascript newbie so I'm still learning how will I impliment sIFR to my headings.

Here's a link but the H2 tags doesn't render sIFR:

About 99% of people have flash installed, and also, if you read through the sIFR site, people that don't have flash installed will be shown regular text. sIFR also loads rather fast, and you wouldn't notice a difference, all of this is covered on the website. For all the tags on the site, the flash file (10kb) is only loaded once, and if I remember correctly, it's cached once loaded for a user.
