Old  I need your suggestions to code my layout

Hi coders

I would like to code my layout I designed here.

I think the use of gradients in my header and content boxes will make this difficult. I can't find anything on this. Any suggestions?

Thanks.

Rounded corners does present a challenge, but it's not too bad. This site has a great listing of the many methods that you can use for rounded corners.

As for gradients, the easiest way is to make an tall thin image of the gradient, say 5px by "height of your header", then repeat that image horizontally as the background.

Dont use CSS to make your boxes round because thats just alot of containers ontop of containers. I would suggest Javascript. I once found this really awesome script but unfortunately cannot remember the name.

I would not recommend JS, needs more space and JS enabled.

yes, using JS for any important part of your site is horrible.... especially since the firefox NOSCRIPT plugin is used by many people

yes, sometimes you have to use js/ajax for interactive feature, but then make sure to include a warning in a <noscript>.... your site does not look like it needs JS for interactivity, so don't unneccesarilly limit your readership..... i always brows w/ JS off, if i'm surfing, i just ignore sites where it is needed, unless i know i will use the site many times

I'm confused, why can't you just use table-less CSS?
