New Portfolio Design
I tried sticking with a professional clean sort of look. What do you guys think of it?

Its nice but it needs something. I like simple but not that simple. All it is is the BG, everything else is just a solid color.

Yes its simple, too simple for being that large. Usually when I think of simple as in yours I think of smaller, more compact looks. Its too big to pull off just a "colored box" style. I think either make it thinner for more of a verticle look. Do something with the navigation as well, its just floating there looking like no thought went into the placement of it.

I like it, it works very well for a portfolio. The colors compliment each other well and the navigation is straight to the point and easy to use.
I don't see it as being "too simple", I see it as you trying to get the user to focus on the content to help generate more business for yourself, while still having some style.

An image of some sort would complement the theme nicely. Poeple nowadays want some graphics too, elegant is a good approach, but you need a bit "colour"

As a portfolio it should be really simple. Especially if you do Graphic Art and you display it directly on the page

I think that is way too simple for a designer's site. NO logo, design elements, color contrast, etc.?

Thank you all for your comments. ndesign-studio, I would have added a logo if I knew how to make good ones.
I should have said this is still a work in progress. Before I posted, I tried a few things on the navigation but they all turned out horrible so I just left it. I still have to change the background pattern, but no ideas as of now.

I like the footer and the main content box. The header text looks odd behind the content. Keep working on the rest.
