Old  IE 7 Beta release date annouced!

Microsoft (Quote, Chart) confirmed to internetnews.com that it will deliver the beta 1 version of Longhorn Server on August 3, along with the beta 1 release Internet Explorer 7. They'll be available along with the beta 1 version of Windows Vista, the next-generation Windows client formerly known as Longhorn, which Microsoft announced Friday morning.
Can't wait personally, i'm looking forward to see what IE 7 brings, do you think there will be much improvement over the current browser? Or just a bunch of pointless features that we can really live without?

I use Firefox, but my friend referred me to a different browser, Ace Explorer, suppost to be much better than Firefox and IE and well he's a really geeky IT guy so I'm gona give that a try in a few days.

I'll test IE7 but probs stick to Firefox or Ace.

I don't really need to switch, if Firefox does everything I want it to, then.. whats the point.?

IE7 would probably just be clutter on my hard drive imho.

I've heard rumors that IE7 will be slightly more standards compliant this time around. If that is so I might go back to IE, maybe not.
