I am using Skype and it's just a question of your personal selection - I could ask what are the benefits of msn, as Skype has voip too?

Its better to use google talk. Its pretty much the same thing, but its free and has better voice quality.

Well Skype is free as well And I always had very good voice quality, even when talking with people on 128kb connection.
It's just a personal choice - whichever program you seem to like more. I've been using Skype much before the competition appeared, so I'm used to it and like it very much.
Maybe when some time passes, others will develop new and useful functions while Skype stays in one place... We'll see

I'm still waiting for Skype to launch their SkypeIn beta in Canada, and I will drop my landline then.

I use skype, because it's standard for voip. It's the biggest, and everyone else uses it.

I have Skype, but i don't use it unless the people I'm about to contact are someone I personally know. Its one of those last efforts on making sure I have a form of privacy from the looneys online.

I prefer MSN. That way I can walk off for a couple of minutes without anyone noticing it.
